Criteria for Extended Time on Standardized Tests – ACT / SAT / PSAT / AP Officials from testing companies determine student eligibility for extended time on standardized tests. Although specific requirements vary, both companies (ACT and College Board) require that a student have a recent (last 3-5 years) formal evaluation from a certified professional on file at the school to meet basic guidelines. Check list for PSAT / SAT – ETT* • Recent (3-5 years) formal evaluation on file at STM • Have a disability that necessitates testing accommodations. • Receive and use the requested accommodations, due to the disability, for school-based tests, for at least four months • For additional information, visit the College Board (SAT / PSAT / AP) web site at www.collegeboard.com/ssd/ Please note: • In order to eligible for ETT* on College Board Tests, you are to request from the ASP Director a Student Eligibility Form. The form must be submitted to College Board at least six weeks prior to the test date. See chart below. |
