Parent Teacher Club
Energy, excitement, generosity, and talent can best describe the Parent Teacher Club (PTC) 2008-2009 Board of Directors. With input from YOU (our parents), through the volunteer Sign Up Sheets and Fundraising Surveys, PTC is planning a year of events, fundraisers, grants, and benefits for our children, our teachers, our faculty, and our STM families. YOU are all a part of the STM Parent Teacher club! If you are interested in participating in any particular capacity with any of the activities listed below, please feel free to attend our open board meetings on Mondays at noon: September 8, October 13, November 10, December 8, January 12, February 9, March 9, April 20, and May 11. | Plans for this Year Include: | "Cougar Closet" - Bookstore | | ~New STM On-Line Bookstore | ~Located in the school Mall next to the office | | ~New e-mail database for cummunication with parents | ~Hours: 11 am - 1 pm every weekday | | ~STM Alumni database | ~$15.00 pre-paid credit cards available | | ~New welcome banners, signs, spirit items for school events | ~STM spirit apparel for sports and activities | | ~Teacher Grants | ~Spirit car magnets and decals | | ~Parent-to-Parent series fo educational tapes | ~Heavyweight quality ponchos | | ~Promoting and supporting Campus Ministry events | ~Basic school supplies | | ~Battle of the Bands / STM Idol Fundraisers (November 15, 2008) | ~Balloons, Balloons, Balloons | | ~$5,000 Cash Raffle Fundraiser ((January-April 2009) | ~P.E. uniforms | | ~New "King of Hearts Game Night" Fundraiser (February 14, 2009) | ~Planners | | ~"Royal Standard Shopping Night" (October 29, 2008 4-8 pm) | Questions: Contact Vallie Hollier 277-9384 |
