Liturgies & Prayers 

School Masses are celebrated weekly for students, faculty and staff. Involvement of many school groups in planning our Liturgies makes the celebrations more meaningful to students. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist, both at school and in their respective parishes. The Eucharistic Liturgy (the Mass) is the Catholic Church’s fullest expression of its unity of doctrine and discipline. All students attend the weekly school Mass attentively and reverently. Catholic students are invited to receive Communion (the Eucharist) with proper spiritual preparation.

The sacrament of Reconciliation is offered several times weekly at school. Students are invited to take part in this Sacrament, and our non-Catholic brothers and sisters are invited to take part in this opportunity to speak to the priest for spiritual direction/advice. While we offer scheduled opportunities for Reconciliation, our campus priests are always open and available for confessions when on campus. Confessions are offered on Monday in 7th hour, Wednesday in 4th hour, and Friday in 6th hour.

Because of the essential role of prayer in the formation of a personal relationship with God, students lead and participate in the various and regular experiences of prayer. Each class throughout the school day begins in prayer. Morning Prayer is a time where all students and faculty are invited to the Chapel at 7:10 a.m. for a few minutes of reflection and intercessory prayer. A team of parents commit to praying every hour of the school day for our students before the tabernacle in our school chapel. Often students gather in small groups to pray together during their lunch hour.
