Guidance Counseling

The guidance department offers individual personal counseling, as well as academic advisement.  Every spring  individual academic planning meetings are held with every student to review their four year plans, and to complete course requests for the upcoming year.

St. Thomas More has a comprehensive, developmental guidance program administered by eight full-time counselors: four grade level counselors, three academic support counselors, and a college admissions counselor. The department also houses the registrar.

  • The grade level counselors remain with students throughout their high school career focusing on personal advisement and academic counseling
  • The college admissions coordinator handles career and college counseling and scholarship attainment
  • The academic support counselors will assist students with specific learning difficulties across all grade levels
  • The registrar maintains student records and transcripts

The Guidance Department is located in Room 100.
